Directions to Arrandale House

Travelling North on the A9: Take the Pitlochry exit from the A9, signposted Pitlochry and Braemar A924. Continue and you will pass the BP Service Station on the left hand side and the Blair Athol Distillery on the right hand side. Continue past the distillery until you see an arch bridge. Take an immediate right when you pass under the arch bridge where you will see the Atholl Palace gatehouse. Keep to the right of the gatehouse and continue up Knockfarrie Road for approximately 170 metres. Arrandale House is on the right hand side.  

​Travelling South on A9: Take the Pitlochry exit from the A9, signposted Pitlochry and Braemar A924 and continue through town until you see the main car parking area and iCentre on the left hand side. Continue for approximately 300 metres and just before the arch bridge take a left turn where you will see the Atholl Palace gatehouse. Keep to the right of the gatehouse and continue up Knockfarrie Road for approximately 170 metres.  Arrandale House is on the right hand side.

General Terms and Conditions

Bookings, Deposits and Payments

  • Prices stated are per room per night based on two people sharing and includes a full Scottish breakfast.

  • Please advise us at time of booking if you have any specific dietary requirements. 

  • Subject to availability, single occupancy rates are available on request.

  • Children of 12 years and over are welcome but regrettably we can only accommodate a maximum of two people per room.

  • Bookings for 3 rooms or more will require a 50% non-refundable deposit at time of booking.

  • 50% non-refundable deposit or full payment for the entire stay may be requested at the time of booking for longer stays or during events taking place within the area. Different cancellation policy may also be applied and this will be communicated at the time of booking.

  • Full Credit/Debit Card details are required to confirm a booking.

  • Payment in full is taken on departure by cash (pounds sterling), personal debit or credit card.

  • We regret we are unable to accept  personal cheques, travellers cheques, foreign currency, American Express or Diners Club.

Arrival and Departure 

  • Check- in is between 3pm and 6pm. Please let us know of your estimated time of arrival between these hours when booking or in advance by email.

  • Check-in after 6pm is by prior arrangement only.

  • Rooms are only available from 3pm on the day of arrival .

  • Rooms are to be vacated by 10.30am on the day of departure.

Cancellation Policy

  • All cancellations must be made in writing via email to reservations@arrandalehousepitlochry.com and are only valid once confirmed by Arrandale House.

  • Cancellations within 7 days of arrival will be charged for the entire length of stay booked. This also applies to non arrivals.

  • A  cancellation whilst resident will incur the full charge of the stay.

  • Travel insurance is highly recommended to cover for any unforeseen cancellations.

Smoking    

  • Arrandale House has a strict non smoking policy within the house and bedrooms which includes E- Cigarettes.

  • We reserve the right to ask Guests to leave if found smoking in the house and in addition to the full booking  charge, a deep clean charge of £150  will be applied.  

Car Parking

  • One car parking space per room is provided and cars are parked entirely at the owners' own risk.

Wifi

  • Wifi is available and subject to acceptance of the terms and conditions of use presented at guest log-in.       

​Animals and Pets

  • Regrettably we cannot accept any animals/pets within the house or grounds.

  • Arrandale House is home to a cat called Belle, she keeps to herself and sleeps most of the day! Belle resides in a private area of the house and is not allowed in any of the guest areas.

 Damages and Loss

  • We do not accept liability for damage, loss or injury to Guests, their possessions or vehicles for the duration of the booking.          

  • Due to the quality of furnishings, we do not permit the consumption of hot food in the guest bedrooms.

  • Please let us know immediately of any damage or spillage so that we can attempt a repair or clean. Any significant breakage or damage may result in a charge for replacement or repair. If you have left the premises, we will advise you by email of this the same day.

  • Rooms left in an untidy or inappropriate manner will be subject to an additional cleaning charge.

  • Lost or non-return of keys will incur a £150 replacement charge.

Inappropriate Behaviour

  • We reserve the right to terminate without notice, an individual’s stay, due to unacceptable/disruptive behaviour or as a result of actions which are likely to offend others.

Changes to General Terms and Conditions Policy

  • We reserve the right to modify this General Terms and Conditions Policy at any time and the changes will take effect immediately upon their posting on this website.
